Emily Ansel is an NYC based Makeup Artist and a member of Local 798 Makeup & Hair Union, I.A.T.S.E.

Emily has equal experience with film, fashion, tv, and theatre. Her clients include BRAVO, LOGO, FOX, MTV2, ABC, ANIMAL PLANET, TEEN VOGUE, JC PENNEY, CAPTAIN MORGAN'S, JENNY CRAIG, and more.

Her work in film and off and on broadway has allowed her to work with celebrities such as Julianne Nicholson, Greg Kinnear, Christopher Walken, Natalie Merchant, Tony Kushner, Jonathan Groff, Maria Dizzia, Zachary Booth, Thure Lindhart, Lee Arenberg, Judy Gold, Lauren Pritchard, Lloyd Kaufman, Jay Thomas, Jayne Wisener, Gilbert Godfried, and Donna Murphy.

She was able to further hone her craft as Assistant Makeup Artist to Mary Phillips for celebrities Jennifer Lopez, Salma Hayek, and Jessica Simpson for many clients including American Idol, Glamour Magazine by Elle Von Unwerth, Roberto Cavalli by Mert and Marcus, Letterman, Regis and Kelly, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and many more.
